Traditional Hosts in the Rastkeller

Kurt Schubert is a Würzburg original and hails from the historical district of Heidingsfeld. Together with his family he stands for a long tradition of gastronomy. Tremendous efforts he puts in his work for the city council of his hometown with an always open ear for the needs of the citizens

How it all started …


The Würzburg city hall – colloquially called the “Grafeneckart” – is a group of buildings constructed in different historical epochs. The centerpiece is the “Grafeneckart Atrium” with the tower and hall from the year 1200, the only preserved secular construction of the Staufer family.
